Abstract
During the last decade, a high degree of perfection has been achieved
in the construction of hydraulic rock drills. These equipments, made for mining
and tunnelling, enjoy a good reputation today and may be the only tools
of tomorrow. In this paper, the historical development as well as the technical
characteristics are described and a comparative study has been made by
the table shown in the paper.
