A Method for Analysing the Voltage Mul,iplier to determine the Minimum Capacitance Value Necessary

Abstract

Following the development of diodes (multijunction) capable of working
with voltages of 10 Kv or more, it became possible to produce a fully transistorized
television set. To minimize the value of the capacitors necessary for the
voltage multiplier, we have obtained a relationship between the voltage ripple
and the circuit components by analysing the Villard circuit. This relationship
has been used to obtain a minimum capacitance solution and also to determine
the relationship between the out - put impedence and the values of the circuit
components.
