Expansion of mass media has considerably affected people’s lives. Consequently universities have been also applying information technology worldwide in order to communicate their limitless data. Benefiting from Information technology and the tools it provides, has been a controversial issue since applying it in architecture arena need proper answers to questions like "How is computer advantageous in creativity process and solving designing problems?" or "Do architects accept the capabilities of information technology?" Nowadays information technology tools, which include different software, are vastly used in architectural companies to do repetitive tasks which don`t need innovation and creativity.Traditional designing tools (such as pen, markers and …) strengthen basic ideas but have been essentially weak in presenting projects. Having the potentials of connecting primitive ideas and presenting the final projects, information technology provide architectural students with new facilities. Evolution process of architectural engineering has been initially studied in this article and afterwards the role of information technology tool as new instrument have been analyzed. Finally the comparison between classical method and new tools and the result in fields of teaching practical architectural lessons by the help of information technology will be presented.
