The available experiments and reports of executed projects in Iranian research centers and universities show that the ability of know-how development of chemical and petrochemical synthesis as well as their required catalyst is existed in laboratory scale. Although, know-how development in larger scale is possible, too but no certain scientific and classified method has been explained which is a principle for achieving the know-how in industrial scale as a basis for commercialization and income earning in economic companies. In this paper it was tried to analyze the appropriate methods of scale up related to process systems and base on the available information with considering the main key aspects of the process in scale field. Another part of this paper allocated to a proposal for an academic course including relevant syllabuses as a single 4 units or doubles 3 units. And finally, as a case study in scale-up area, the MTP project which executed in Petrochemical Research and Technology Company (NPC-RT) was investigated and reported.
