Abstract

Measurment of instantaneous frequency of radar signals using delay line is a conventional method in IFM receivers. However the accuracy of this
method depends on ideal performance of all components used in IFM. Because of
non-ideal characteristics of the component there is always an error in the measurement of frequency of radar. In this paper delay line and diodes working in square law region are used to introduced a new method to analyze error and remove ambiguity in the measurement results.
