Prestressed joist-block floor constructions
are being used more and more
in Iran every day. There seems to be
a special need for "DESIGN TABLES OF
PRESTRESSED JOISTS" in order to save
designer's time.
Technical specifications of prestressed
joists has been studied in this
paper and "DESIGN TABLES" are presented
in appendix I.
Some of the requirements of ACI
318-77 CODE for joist-block constructions
has also been presented in appendix 11.
