For instance Sea Surface Temperature (SST) images, altimetry data and ocean color data can be used for characterizing currents and vortex structures in the ocean. The purpose of this thesis is to derive a relatively complete framework for processing large dynamic oceanographic image sequences in order to detect global displacements such as oceanographic streams and to localize particular structures like motion current and vortices and fronts. These characterizations will help in initializing particular processes in a global monitoring system. Using area-based algorithms, two least squares methods have been used to solve the apparent motion which involves Least Squares Matching (LSM) and Hierarchical least squares Lucas and Kanade (HLK). SST images of Caspian Sea taken by MODIS sensor on board Terra satellite have been used in this study. Three daily SST images with 24 hours time interval are used as input data. The LSM technique, as a flexible technique for most data matching problems, offers an optimum spatial solution for the motion estimation. The algorithm allows for simultaneous local (i.e. template) radiometric correction and local geometrical image orientation estimation. Actually, the correspondence between two image templates is modeled both geometrically and radiometrically. In order to implement weighted least squares fit of local first-order optical flow constraints in each spatial neighborhood, the HLK method has been used. This method locates water current using coarse-to-fine strategy to track motion in Gaussian pyramids of SST images. This method allows the detection of large motion in coarse resolution layer and guides to correct result in finer layers. The method used in this study has presented more efficient and robust solution compared to the traditional motion estimation schemes to extract water currents.}, keywords = {Coarse to fine,Least Square Matching,Optical flow,Pyramid,sea surface temperature,Water Motion}, title_fa = {تحلیل حرکت جریانات دریائی در تصاویر حرارتی سطح آب دریا}, abstract_fa = {تصاویر ماهواره‌ای حرارتی سطح دریا (SST)1، داده‌های ارتفاع سنجی و داده‌های رنگی اقیانوس برای شناسائی جریانات دریائی و ساختارهای گردابی در اقیانوس به کار برده می‌شوند. هدف از این مقاله استخراج چارچوبی برای پردازش تصاویر پی‌درپی بزرگ اقیانوسی به منظور شناسائی و استخراج جا به جایی‌های کلی مانند جریان‌های اقیانوسی و مکان ساختارهای خاص مانند جریان آب و گرداب ها و جبهه‌های دریائی می‌باشد. این خصوصیات و فرآیندها در سامانه‌های نظارت جهانی و منطقه‌ای کاربرد دارد. با استفاده از روش های سطح مبنا شامل، روش تناظریابی کمترین مربعات (LSM)2 و روش سلسله مراتبی کمترین مربعات Lucas and Kanade (HLK)3 حرکات ظاهری آب استخراج شده اند. داده‌های مورد پردازش تصاویر حرارتی دریای خزر می‌باشد که بوسیله سنجنده MODIS از ماهواره Terra مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است. سه تصویر روزانه حرارتی سطح دریای خزر با فاصله زمانی 24 ساعت به عنوان داده‌های ورودی استفاده شده‌اند. روش LSM، یک روش انعطاف‌پذیر بوده و برای اغلب تناظریابی داده‌ها مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرد و به کارگیری این روش در استخراج جریان بهینه می‌باشد. این روش امکان استفاده همزمان تصحیحات محلی رادیومتریکی و هندسی را دارا است. در واقع رابطه بین دو الگوی تصویر با مدل رادیومتریکی و هندسی مد نظر قرار می‌گیرد. به منظور به کارگیری روش کمترین مربعات وزن‌دار که از مدل و قید درجه اول جریان نوری(OF4) استفاده می‌نماید، از روش HLK کمک گرفته شد. این روش با مشخص کردن جریانات دریائی با شیوه پردازش زبر به نرم و استفاده از هرم‌های گوسی تصاویر SST به ردیابی حرکت می‌پردازد. این شیوه حل به استخراج جریانات بزرگ دریائی در لایه‌های بالائی هرم پرداخته و بسمت نتایج صحیح در لایه پائینی هرم راهنمائی می‌نماید. شیوه استفاده شده در این مطالعه نشان دهنده کارائی بالا و قوی شیوه حل مساله در مقایسه با روش های معمول تخمین حرکت جریان آب می‌باشد.}, keywords_fa = {تصاویر ماهواره‌ای حرارتی سطح آب,تناظریابی کمترین مربعات,جریان نوری,حرکت آب,زبر به نرم,هرم تصویر}, url = {https://jfe.ut.ac.ir/article_20451.html}, eprint = {https://jfe.ut.ac.ir/article_20451_e586391612f3dc52d77f3e6013cdef8d.pdf} }
