The Field of Rod  Plan Electrodes and Partial
Discharge Inception Voltage in Air

The Coordinate transformation allows the
exact calculation of some electrode Configurations.
In this Paper the Prolate Spherical Coordination
transformation is used to Calculate the field of a
hyperboloiderod against Plan electrode. The exact
field is Caculated using two new Parameters:
1) Electrodes Spacing and
2) The radius of Curvature of the tip of the
rod electrode.
The Partial discharge inception voltage in air
is then calculated by numerical integration of the
effective
ionization coefficient over the gap using these
parameters. The PD inception voltage is calception
voltage is Calculated for constant radius of
Curvature Versus electrodes Spacing.
The calculation Shows that for large electrodes
distances the electrodes Spacing is not relevant but
the radius of the curvature of the tip of the rod
electrode is very important. It seems that the form
of the rod shaft is likewise not relevant. The result
can be used for large electrodes distances for evry
form of the rod shaft.

The projection strucrure is vibrated by the
dynamic effects of the projectile in the inital stahes
before seperation. This induces two major results,
one is the calculation of stresses obtained decause
of bib ration in order to design the launcher and
other one which. is bery important, is the
determinaion of initial condirions of the nissile
prijection at the time of fron the launcher. These
conditions are not the same as the static conditions
before projection, beacuse of vibration at the time
of projection. Thereford, these conditions should be
determined in order to be accurate in hirring the
targer.
in thes study, a numerical algorithm based on
Structural lmpedamce Approach (1), (3), (4), (5),
(6), (7) is presenred to obtain the appropriate
governing equations. Finally, a Software has been
prepared bu whic the displacements of different
points on the launcher at various time snd initial
conditions of missile at the time of seperction from
the latncher can be predicted.

The concepts of Structural optimization was
introduced about Sixty years ago. Smiths from the
University of Los Angeles (California) for the first
time has offered the combination of finite element
method and optimization techniques to design
optimum structures (1960). At present time, this
techniques are generally understood and many
softwares for this perpose have been developed. In
this paper. Optimum design of sandwich
constructions is considered by the combination of
finite element method and nonlinear optimization
programming. The nonlinear problem is solved by
Sequential Linear Programming. In this basis ,a
Software is designed which can be executed on a
PC/XT/AT/ and it can solve complicated Problems
Suitably. Solved examples Shows stability and
convergence of the method as well as reliability of
the developed software.

Two main goals are being Pursued in this paper.
First, a Brief Summary of the Structural
Optimization methods is presented. Although most
of these methods are general and are Used in
analysis and design of Skeletal as well as
Continuous Structures, discussion is more often
directed towards the shape optimization .The Second
Second goal of this paper is to present a new
method for Sensitivity analysis of two dimensional
elastic problems. In this direction, required
equations are derived and presented along with a
numerical example. This numerical exprience Shows
clearly the applicability of the method.

"LA Grande Arche de la Defense," erected to
the West of Paris, is a monumental building
designed by the Danish architect, Johan  Otto Von
Spreckelsen , in 1983.
The design of the structure was developed by
COYNEet BELLIER , Consulting Engineers, and
the civil works were performed by the company
BOUYGUES, between June 1985 and July 1989.
((La Grande Arches )) is Structurally organized
as a monolithic hollow cube with sides about 110m
long laying on two lines of six megapiles each.All 12
megapiles are designed to support up to 300000
tonnes. The complexity of the project and the works
done were due to:
The site which was already occupied by many
existing projects (highway, railway, parking areas,
etc.),
The phases of construction, large spanning
beams at high levels, limited tolerance of
construction.
The time schedule which was extremely short
for studies as well as for constnuction .

ظرفیت (حجم حافظه) مدل عصبی هاپفیلد ، بعنوان پارامترهای مهم در بهره برداری از این شبکه ، بررسی شده است .
در این مقاله ، باند بالای ظرفیت شبکه هاپفیلد با روشی نو ، از طریق مدل سازی آن با کانال شانون محاسبه می شود . به منظور دستیابی به حداکثر زمان ممکن الگریتم یادگیری شبکه بررسی می شود و به اثبات می رسد که ظرفیت شبکه در عمل محدود به ماکزیمم تعداد الگوهای آموزشی دو به دو متعامد است . سپس ضمن اثبات چند قضیه در خصوص کدهای متعامد ، حجم حافظه عملی شبکه را در حالت ورودی خش دار و بی خش ، با فرض کدگذاری مناسب روی الگوهای آموزشی ، بررسی کرده ، سر انجام با استفاده از شبیه سازی مدل هاپفیلد نتایج محاسبات نظری و میزان افزایش حجم حافظ را ارزیابی می کنیم .

Treatment Methods of Copper Ores

At the present time, flotation is the primary
method for copper minerals separation from copper
ores. The main copper ores that is extracted in the
world is sulphide ore. The Sulphide minerals are
floated readily by using sulphydryl collectors. In the
case of using Xanthates , which are among the
sulphydryl collectors, used more in the flotation of
sulphide minerals of copper, the
flotation of copper minerals is due to:
(a) multilayers of cuprous xanthate and absorption
on the surface of mineral, (b) electrostatic
adsorption of dixanthogen.
After one stage of sulphidization, the copper
carbonates could be floated like the sulphide
minerals. In addition, these minerals could be
floated by the fatty acids.

Ti  Microalloyed Steel, Quenched From Hot Forging Temperature

The aim of the paper presented here is to
develop the Ti  micralloyed Steel in otrer to
Oprtmize the mechanical Properties after direct
quenching from hot forging temperature. For this
purpose, Seven melts containing various amounts of
titanium were prepared and cast in metal and sand
molds. From the ingots, cast in metal mould, tractor
links were produced by hot forging. The produced
links were direct quenched from forging
temperature and then temperd to obtaine the
optimum microstructure and mechanical properties.
The results obtained from tensile, impact and
hardness tests along with the optical and scanning
electron microscopy examination showed that the
optimum microstructure and thus the optimum
mechanical properties belong to 0.01 wt%
Titaniummicroalloyed steel.
